Tulsa's craft-brewing business continues to grow with ten different operations brewing or getting ready to open.

The newest is the Cabin Boys Brewery at Utica and 7th Street. This weekend they'll become the sixth company to offer local, specialty beers.

But the founders told us they aren't worried about a crowded marketplace.

Founder and Brewer Austin McIlroy said, "The more the merrier in this area. We'll be able to build the culture and community easier together, rather than separate. We really don't think of each other as competitors."

They think a lot of good craft brewers will multiply the number of customers.

Customers can sit around their giant, German-style tables and enjoy nine beers. The list includes a German-style Ale.

Founder and Art Director Lisa McIlroy said it's something almost everyone will like.

McIlroy said, "It's real clean. You're gonna get biscuit and lemongrass in the aromas. It's light on the bitterness and just kind of refreshing."

They hope Tulsans will embrace local beer made with as many local ingredients as possible.

While they fill kegs in a production area filled with stainless steel, they want a warm, family atmosphere in their tap room.

Their name and logo come from a cabin that was built by the family. It became a place for them all to get together and enjoy life.

So, their beer hall is intended to be a similar communal experience.

McIlroy said, "You might think you're on a date, but you might be sitting across from someone you've never met before and you might be forced to meet someone new."

They can envision visitors going from brewery to brewery like they might tour the California wine country.

The brewery opens Saturday the 25th with their public grand opening from 11 a.m. to 10 pm.
