Day Of The Living Ales (Chicago, IL) – The Chicago Beer Society will be presenting the 2018 Day of the Living Ales this Saturday March 3rd at the Bottom Lounge and if you care about cask ales you need to be there. This year’s two-session cask extravaganza will feature cask conditioned ales from breweries all around Chicagoland. And as always all the casks at the Day of the Living Ales are handled by CBS’s experienced cellarmen, trained in the UK to ensure that getting full cask experience.
On The Big Screen – We’re still on the Jennifer Lawrence bandwagon and she’s got a new thriller coming out this week that might get it done. Directed by Francis Lawrence (no relations) who worked with Lawrence on The Hunger Game series, Red Sparrow tells the story of a Russian ballerina who has been secretly trained by her government to become a ‘killing machine.” C’mon what’s not love? And did we mention that it stars Jennifer Lawrence?
A Capital Time In California (Sacramento, CA) – The 8th Annual Capital Beer Fest returns to the Capital Mall in Sacramento this Saturday (3/3) and it’s a good one. This year’s afternoon throwdown will feature more than 300 beers from over 125 of the region’s best breweries, so you should have enough drink. And to make things even better 100% of the proceeds go to the Runnin’ for Rhett Youth Fitness Program.

This weekend we’re doing IPAs and we’ll hitting up a new year-round from Ninkasi Brewing that a lot of our beer buds have been buzzing about.
