Anheuser-Busch will be unveiling its biggest Super Bowl lineup EVER this year, including a new Michelob ULTRA ad that features robot athletes and a cameo from Latino musician, Maluma.

With the fortunes of Anheuser-Busch’s two most popular brand’s Budweiser and Bud Light floundering, Michelob Ultra, now the fastest-growing domestic beer in the country, is as Good Beer Hunting reports “something of a savior for declining brands of parent company.”
And that “savior” will be getting some pricy exposure during the Super Bowl as part of Anheuser-Busch’s a massive seven product, media buy.
Showcasing its ‘no artificial,’ health conscience, fit and fun lifestyle positioning, Michelob ULTRA’s “Robots” marks the brand’s fourth consecutive appearance during Super Bowl programming with a smart looking spot produced by FCB Chicago.
Conceived to further the brand’s ‘no artificial’ messaging Michelob ULTRA’s “Robots” commercial features robots (artificial, get it?) outperforming humans at everything except when it comes to their ability to enjoy the light beer.
Azania Andrews, the Vice President of Michelob ULTRA was pretty jazzed about the :30 commercial that will air on Super Bowl Sunday…

And in an effort to tap into America’s growing Latino population. “Robots” also features the award-winning Latin music superstar, Maluma, who makes an uber-brief cameo in the commercial as part of his official Super Bowl debut…
