Spring continues to overtake winter in our latest collection of new beers for 2018…And we’ve five intoxicating craft beer directions that you might want to consider as we look forward to things warming up.

A Thunderous Rollout For 2018 (Newport, OR) – Rogue Brewing is rolling out one of their biggest releases of the year and it’s all Rogue every step of the way.  Brewed with ingredients grown at Rogue Farms, and aged for nine months in handmade barrels at Rogue’s Rolling Thunder Barrel Works, Rolling Thunder Imperial Stout 2018 pours pitch black with a thick creamy head and features deep sherry notes accentuated by hints of raspberries, brown sugar and vanilla.

Founders Keepers (Grand Rapids, MI) – It appears that Founders Brewing is addressing craft beer ‘beginners’ with their latest uber-affordable release. From its slightly retro imaging to its straightforward stylistic choice, Founders Solid Gold is a 4.4% ABV Golden Lager, that takes the lager in a craftier direction. And at $14.99 for a 15-pack this thing’s a steal.

A Garage Project (Atlanta, GA) – Monday Night Brewing’s newest release from their exciting Garage barrel-aging and souring facility in Atlanta’s West End is a one-of-a-kind beer. The result of over two years of aging in bourbon and rum barrels, Monday Night Excolatur is a 9.7% ABV Dark Sour Blend tempered by four additional month of aging with Montmorency cherries.

A Good Night For Beer Pricing (Longmont, CO) – In an unexpected move Oskar Blues is core pricing one of their award-winning imperials beers. Oscar Blues’ GABF medal-winning G’Knight Imperial Red IPA is a hefty 8.7% ABV Imperial Red India Pale Ale with a nose full of aroma and a surprisingly smooth finish for a beer of this magnitude.beer, Beer Alert – New Fruit Sours, Barrel Aged Blends And India Pale Ales!

Each beer in the Tartastic Series is actually blend of two beers – one that is traditionally fermented and one that undergoes a lactobacillus fermentation that creates a subtle tartness.  New Belgium Tartastic Raspberry Lime Ale is a 4.2% ABV is a fruit-forward hybrid with a refreshingly crisp and slightly tart flavor profiles.
