Winter meet spring in our latest collection of new beers for 2018…And we’ve five intoxicating craft beer directions that you might want to consider as we all look to warmer weather.

Wood Werks (Denver, CO) – Great Divide Brewing is releasing the first beer from their new small batch Wood Werks Barrel Series and it sounds promising!  Great Divide Wood Werks Belgian-Style Sour is a 9.3% ABV Belgian-Style Tripel that’s been souring for 15 months in red wine barrels on plums. Put this one on your ‘to-do’ list!

Castle Island Brews In Support Of Team USA (Norwood, MA) – Castle Island has brewed a new charitable release with its proceeds going towards an Olympian effort, the Team USA Fund. Meet Castle Island’s Geonbae Pilot Series Pale Ale. The name, a Korean word for “cheers” (pronounced “GON-bay”), is a nod to the location of this year’s Games, and $1 from every pint purchased is going towards the Team USA Fund.

The Spring Session (Hood River, OR) – Even with snow still on the ground, Full Sail Brewing has opted to accentuate the positive with a new Session Series release that looks to spring. Brown Nose (Blue Lake CA) – Mad River Brewing has a new Artisan Reserve Series release that they describe as “food for the malt lovers soul.” A dessert like creation crafted from a mash of  Munich 10, Vienna, Crystal 70/80, Aromatic, Chocolate malt and Black Patent malts that are tempered into submission by Nugget hops, Humboldt Brownie is an award-winning 9% ABV Double Brown Ale that’s available now in 22oz bombers.

Magic Hat’s Celtic Collaboration (South Burlington, VT) – Magic Hat Brewing is releasing a new collaboration with legendary Boston Celtic punk rockers, the Dropkick Murphys in February and they promise that it will be at retail in time to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. Magic Hat Barroom Hero is described as a traditional English “pub ale,” dark amber in color and with a roasted coffee aroma. And proceeds from the collaboration will benefit the Claddagh Fund, a charity created in 2007 by Dropkick Murphys front man, Ken Casey.
