GOLDEN, CO – It's the end of an era for the free tours –and free beer– at Golden's Coors brewery. At the end of March, the brewery will begin charging admission for its tours, which bring many visitors to Golden every year.

The new tours will cost $10 for visitors over 21. Active Duty military and youngsters under 21 will still be free. Colorado residents will still get a bit of relief with a ticket that only costs $5.

The best part of the tour was the free beer samples available to those over 21 in the brewery's Hospitality Lounge. The beer hasn't gone away, but now the ticket price will include three 8-ounce beer samples and a commemorative glass.
