The Day Of The Living Ales Returns (Chicago, IL) – This Saturday March 2nd the Chicago Beer Society will be presenting the 2019 Day of the Living Ales at Chicago’s Bottom Lounge, and if you care about cask ales you need to be there. This year’s two-session extravaganza will feature cask conditioned ales from breweries all around Chicagoland. As always, casks at Day of the Living Ales are handled by CBS’s experienced cellarmen, trained in the UK to ensure that you get the full cask experience and drink beer the way it was always meant to be enjoyed.
On the Big Screen – This week’s big movie opening is a horror epic that was the talk of 2018’s Sundance Festival. The Hole In The Ground tells the story of a mother and son who move to a new home in the Irish countryside, next to a forest that hides an enormous sinkhole.
