Sporting a recipe that survived constant revisions and took more than a year to develop, Heyday Modern IPA is a bold 5.8% ABV India Pale Ale with subtle notes of tropical fruit, berry, and melon, and a ‘modern’ hop profile.
Fantastic Tartastic (Ft Collins, CO) – New Belgium has just introduced the latest release from their rotating Fruit Beer Series and its aroma alone is pure bliss in a bottle. Slightly tart and lightly sweet at the same time and an alternative to the sometimes to sweet Radler style, New Belgium Tartastic Strawberry Lemon is 4.2% ABV summertime refresher brewed with strawberry and lemon puree.
Smooth Sailing Drinking (Baltimore, MD) – Heavy Seas Beer Is returning a popular limited release with a new can design and new can wrap. Brewed with fresh lemon and orange peel, Heavy Seas Smooth Sail is a quaffable 4.5% ABV American Wheat Ale with a subtle citrus kick finish.
Virtual Brewing (Escondido, CA) – Stone Brewing has just released a new IPA which incorporates first-use technology that extracts different qualities and complexities from otherwise familiar hops. Brewed with Incognito™ Mosaic and Citra hops, that reveal themselves in entirely new ways, Stone VirtuALE IPA is a 7.7% ABV liquid journey into the world of experimental hop technology.
Hammock And Fair Friendly (St. Paul, MN) – Summit Brewing is celebrating summer’s coming with the return of a special seasonal that uses all Minnesota ingredients. Brewed with locally sourced hops, malts and strawberries, and originally presented as a one-time-only beer for the 2017 Minnesota State Fair, Summit Lazy Sipper is a 4.8% ABV Blonde Ale with a gentle hop profile and complex malt notes of toast, breadcrumb, and graham cracker.
Taking A Flier (San Leandro, CA) – Having made its considerable name for crafting huge IPAs, rich barrel-aged stouts, and limited releases, Drake’s Brewing recently introduced a new year-round that you might find surprising. Inspired by a major migratory path for birds that extends from Alaska to Patagonia that’s known as the Pacific Flyway, Drake’s Flyaway Pils is a 4.5% ABV German-style Pilsner with a smart and uber-clean finish.
