One of the highlights of last year’s BrewDog Beer Geek Awards was the expansion of the Beer Tasting Geek competitions across the English Channel. And it was such a wild time that BrewDog is doing it all again next week in the UK and Europe as well as in the US.
Beer geeks who want to enter the 2018 competitions can just grab a ticket online, and then head to one of BrewDog’s bars between 6 and 7:30pm on Tuesday June 19th (full list of bars below).
Once there participants will be handed eight mystery beers by BrewDog’s Cicerone-trained bar crews and challenged to determine the specific beer style for each sample and submit their answers online here.
Then the Top-10 competitors in the UK/Europe and the US leaders will be invited to the Beer Geek Awards Ceremony in London (or Columbus) where they will go head-to-head once again in the final stand-offs that will determine BrewDog’s Beer Tasting Geek champions in both Europe and the US.
All three of BrewDog’s US bars including their DogTap Columbus, Franklinton and Short North locations will be presenting next week’s Beer Tasting Geek competitions.
And the following European BrewDog Bars – Barcelona, Bologna, Brussels, Berlin, Firenze, Goteborg, Helsinki, Kungsholmen, Malmo, Oslo, Södermalm, Rome and Tallinn will be participating internationally.
