UPDATE: November 21, 2019

The Scottish brewery BrewDog is back with another project. The brand already has a DogHouse hotel in Columbus, OH, and now the company is opening Brew Dog kennels that offer another place for you and your four-legged friends to stay.

BrewDog Kennels will essentially be just like the hotels but a bit smaller and in more locations, according to Insider. First, the Kennels will open in the company's home city of Aberdeen, Scotland and in Columbus, OH. These cities both already have BrewDog hotels.

Not only will the Kennels have a beer fridge in every room, you can ask for a doggy bed or treats for your pet to enjoy while you drink up. Each room type will also include a French press for coffee, a record player with vinyls, and a guitar. So start practicing, I guess?

BrewDog cofounder James Watt told Insider that the inspiration for the Kennels is to make the hospitality experience more memorable. "Our BrewDog Kennels are a revolution in accommodation, sparked by too much time spent in immediately forgettable hotel rooms," Watt said. "We firmly believe that where you stay in a new city should be your home from home, so have brought the spirit of our DogHouse Hotel and its reverence for great beer to a new series of mini-hotels."

The company plans to expand the Kennels to London, Manchester, Paris, and Berlin. Rooms rates start around $95.

Beer fans, rejoice! BrewDog's DogHouse hotel opens on Monday, August 27, per its website. The hotel, with 32 rooms and eight suites, is situated next to BrewDog's OverWorks, a new sour beer facility and taproom in Columbus, Ohio.

Each room has a fridge stocked with a curated selection of brews, and more importantly, a beer tap, with a BrewDog draft of your choice, the site says. Some rooms are dog-friendly, too.

BrewDogs means business about being a beer hotel. Its website says, "From your room, you can see, hear and smell our sour beer foeders and take it all in."

Even the soaps are made with craft beer! The best part of the hotel, perhaps, is the rainfall showers with a shower fridge — meaning a cold beer in within arm's reach DURING your shower!

Esquire reports that with the extra cash from the world's first crowd-funded craft beer hotel, BrewDog plans to open the second at its headquarters in Scotland, in 2019.

BrewDog is on a roll. First, the Scottish brewery starting offering a "paw-ternity" paid leave for employees who are new to puppy parenthood. Now, the company has its sights set on the hospitality business. Its latest project is a totally boozy hotel called DogHouse.

The new venture will be completely crowd-funded and focused on craft beer, Grub Street reports. And, if everything works out, the DogHouse will be the first hotel of its kind.

So far, the brand has already raised more than $50,000 in just 24 hours to make this concept happen. The hotel will be situated alongside its newest brewery in Columbus, OH.

Not only will there be beer taps in every room, but also fridges built into the shower for those beloved shower beers, and restaurant meals both prepared and paired with brews. But if you need some more ale to make your day, the spa will offer hop-oil pedicures, malted-barley massages, and hops-infused face masks.

The DogHouse's Indiegogo page is already swamped with donations—the running total as of this publication was $64,424 and climbing— with backers receiving perks like private tours and tastings. If you pitch in $150, you'll receive a free one-night stay for two (worth over $250). The brand notes that the designs for the hotel should be finalized by June of this year, and it plans to open the hotel's doors by late 2018. We'll be (im)patiently waiting until then.
