Listen, parents, we all know you dig through the candy-filled buckets and bags after the kids get back from trick-or-treating. We're also looking at you millennials, who spend the day after Halloween buying all that half-priced candy.

So if you're looking for something to wash down those sweet mini-sized treats, the beer experts have some killer pairings for you.

Michael Echeveste, Beverage Manager for Yard House, gets down to the nitty-gritty.

Echeveste says pink Starburst pairs well with Angry Orchard Rosé Cider:

The elegant but fruity nature of the rosé complements the sweet pop of the Pink Starburst. The Pink Starburst is the epitome of a playful, fruity and fun candy. The cider highlights that playfulness, and elevates it in refreshing and polished way.

The greatest pairing is Reese’s Cups and Miller High Life, Echeveste says:

Greatness meets greatness in this pairing. It’s the original. The granddaddy of both the beer and candy world – the forever constant. It’s the only way to finish your Halloween evening when your kids have gone to bed.

You can also temper the spice of a Hot Tamale with Modelo, according to Echeveste:

Hot Tamales leave your mouth with an intense, sweet and warm cinnamon flavor. Modelo, refreshing and crisp, immediately cleans it up with its whisper of malty elements that complements the warmness of the cinnamon. When you breathe this combination out, it tastes exactly like fall.

Here's what else Echeveste suggests:

  • Snickers and The Hemperer HPA by New Belgium
  • Delirium Tremens settles the sour in Sour Patch Kids
  • New Holland Dragon’s Milk and Milky Way Midnight
  • Bazooka Bubble Gum and Weihenstephan Hefe Weissbier
  • Swedish Fish with Founders Brewing Co. Nitro Rubaeus
  • Charleston Chew and North Coast Brewing Old Rasputin

The experts at the Growler Guys also have their own, pick your poison- style suggestions:

  • Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and a porter
  • M&M’s and a cream ale or a pilsner
  • Snickers and a strong Belgian dark ale
  • Kit-Kat and a brown ale
  • Hershey’s with a stout or a berry/fruit beer
  • Twix with a Hefeweizen
