Topeka's four breweries joined forces Saturday afternoon to host the downtown Topeka Brewfest.

Dozens of people bundled up and braved the wind and cold-weather to try craft brews.

A band also helped heat things up - providing plenty of music for people to dance to.

The event showcases local brews - giving people a reason to come out and try craft beers from Blind Tiger, Happy Basset - Norseman Brewing Company - and now Iron Rail.

Iron Rail Brewing General Manager Mike Babb says the relationship he's built with the other breweries in town is already great.

"You know we're the new guys, but I’m telling you all of them, Happy Basset, Norseman, Blind Tiger have been great, really great to work with. Teaming up with our brew master Don King so I’m telling you man I don't know how else to put it, it's been great."

Iron Rail Brewing officially opens Monday, November 19th.
