See You In September (Grand Rapids, MI) – Founders Brewing has a new ArtPrize release coming in September that sounds interesting. Founders Trigo (Spanish for wheat) is a 6.3% ABV hoppy Wheat Lager with big aromatics, rounded flavor and a clean finish. And the art on the can was created by Founders culinary team member Cody Levon, “an incredible kitsch painter whose work emulates the beautiful methods of the old masters.”
Heart-Wenching (San Diego, CA) – Ballast Point is kicking off a new Trade Street Series collection with a barrel-aged version of their award-winning sour. Ballast Point White Wine Barrel-Aged Sour is a 7% ABV Blackberry Berliner Weisse-style Ale aged to perfection in oak Chardonnay barrels.
Fluffing Pumpkins? (Arvada, CO) – With autumn just around the corner, Odyssey Beerwerks is returning their most popular seasonal. Odyssey Fluffy Pumpkin Toasted Marshmallow Porter is a 5.3% ABV Porter that was brewed with abundant reserves of roasted pumpkins, seasonal spices, vanilla and marshmallow.
Hazed Crazed (Minneapolis, MN) – On November 1st Minnesota’s Fulton Beer is returning a popular release but this time for the entire nation. Aggressively hopped and dry-hopped with Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo, and Nelson Sauvin, Fulton Specter is a juicy, hazy 7.1% ABV New England-style IPA that, working through Artisanal Imports will be available nationwide, not just in their current distribution footprint.
Autumnal (Ft Collins, CO) – Maxline Brewing just debuted a highly anticipated new release brewed to capture the flavors of the fall. With a bright citrus and peppery front-end that quickly gives way to light effervescent mouthfeel, Maxline Orange Peppercorn Saison is a 6.5% ABV Belgian-style Ale with a surprisingly rounded malt finish.
