Hop Bombed (Atlanta, GA) – Monday Night Brewing has an exciting new release that couldn’t be more local. In fact it’s so local that it’s only available at the brewery’s Trabert Avenue location. Brewed with a deftly curated medley of Idaho 7, Citra, Simcoe hops, by locals, for locals, Monday Night Locals Only is a hazy, easy-drinking IPA that pairs well with August.
Man Mead Made (Baltimore, MD) – This Friday Heavy Seas Beer will be tapping into an exclusive small-batch release with ancient roots that can be traced back to Europe, Africa and Asia. Heavy Seas Honey Ale With Cherries is a 10% ABV Mead-Ale hybrid brewed with 49% honey and a quarter pound of tart cherries per gallon that’s been aggressively fermented to leave virtually zero residual sugar. Yessssssssssssss!
Cool Runnings (Atlanta, GA) – SweetWater Brewing has a new Catch & Release Series seasonal that looks to Jamaica for nuance. Brewed with a blend of cold pressed Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee that tempers waves of roasty chocolate malt, SweetWater Exodus is a 6.6% ABV Jamaican Coffee Porter with an uber-smooth finish.
Head For The Clouds (Ft Collins, CO) – Odell Brewing’s latest limited release is an emerging sub-style of the uber-popular New England IPA. Double dry-hopped with Galaxy, Cashmere, Azzaca, and Citra, Odell Cloud Catcher is a hop-forward 6.8% ABV Milkshake IPA with a lactose-driven creamy mouthfeel and juicy aromatics.
Blue Buried (Asheville, NC) – Hi-Wire Brewing takes its award-winning Sour Blonde Ale in a fruit-fueled direction with its latest ‘taproom-only’ release. Aged with blueberries in oak barrels for more than 14 months, Hi-Wire Blueberry Sour Ale is a vibrant 7.5% ABV American Wild Ale with bright notes of pomegranate, blueberry tea, and Brett.
