Yikes, August is almost a memory…and clearly the craft beer biz isn’t slowing down any time soon. America’s Beer Garden Capital Gets Another (Boston, MA) – Boston’s summer of beer gardens just won’t end. In addition to Remnant Brewing who announced last week that they’ll be pouring at a new pop-up location at the Boston Public Market every weekend through September, Cisco Brewing will soon have a beer garden location.

Nantucket-based Cisco Brewers launched its new pop-up beer garden this week, the first of its kind in Boston’s colorful Seaport district. A portion of the proceeds from the Seaport location will support the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Memorial Fund, a Boston-based nonprofit that maintains a memorial in the Seaport honoring Massachusetts’ service members lost in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Castle Island Brewing opened a seasonal outdoor location in Charlestown earlier this month. . And Everett’s Night Shift Brewing also opened two Owl’s Nest beer gardens on the Charles River recently.

Wachusett Brewing opened a beer garden next to Boston’s City Hall last spring… And Trillium Brewing, who also have a winter beer garden location, returned their uber-cool beer garden to Boston’s Greenway this summer.

Arkansas breweries crafted 39,186 barrels, in 2017, up an amazing 37 percent over 2016!

Little Rock’s Lost Forty Brewery kept the top spot for beer production for the second year running, producing nearly a third of the state’s total beer produced in 2017. Springdale, Arkansas-based Core Brewing held on to its second-place spot, up 4 percent from 2016. Rogers-based Ozark Beer kept its third-place spot with 3,918 barrels, up 29 percent from 2016.
