America’s Top 5 Baseball Stadiums For Craft Beer

baseball, America’s Top 5 Baseball Stadiums For Craft Beer

A recent compendium of 130,000 baseball stadium reviews has come up with the best ballparks in the country for enjoying craft beer…and who doesn’t want to know that?

Each year, baseball fans leave tens of thousands of reviews of their stadiums on Google, Facebook, and other review sites.

And Review Trackers employed what they call a ‘natural language understanding algorithm’ to analyze those positive and negative reviews, using keywords like ‘hot dogs’ or ‘craft beer’ to analyze fan sentiment at America’s ballparks.

All their findings were pretty interesting, but none more fun than what people thought were America’s best Baseball Stadiums for enjoying craft beer.

And the best baseball stadiums for craft beer are (drumroll please)…

The Great American Ball Park (Cincinnati, OH)baseball, America’s Top 5 Baseball Stadiums For Craft Beer

The Reds Brewery District Bar makes the Great American Ball Park a near shoo-in when it comes to ballparks offering serious beer.

It’s a spectacular in-park emporium with 85-foot bar and 60 active taps featuring killer offerings from local craft breweries like Rhinegeist, and  Braxton…and out-of-staters like Founders and Deschutes.

 Citizens Bank Park (Philadelphia, PA)

The Phillies’ park is home to a mind-blowing array of craft beer options including classics like Victory Summer Love, Yards Brawler and Tröegs uber-aggressive Trogenator…Too bad their ballclub wasn’t better.

Petco Park (San Diego, CA)

Given that San Diego is one of our nation’s most vital craft brewing centers, we’re surprised that the home to the Padres didn’t come in at #1.

But sporting craft beer players like Stone, Ballast Point, AleSmith, Pizza Port, Mission and The Lost Abbey, clearly they’re in the game. (One minor quibble is the absence of Modern Times Beer. What’s up with that?)

Progressive Field (Cleveland, OH)baseball, America’s Top 5 Baseball Stadiums For Craft Beer

When you’re talking more than 60 different craft beers on tap throughout Cleveland’s ballpark, and offering’s like the Brew Kettle’s Kitka Coconut Chocolate Milk Stout you know that Progressive Field is serious about their beer.

And yes, Great Lakes Brewing is in the game there, in a big way!

Miller Park (Milwaukee, WI)

How can you field a team called the Milwaukee Brewer’s and not be a major league beer ballpark?

A new in-park bar, Local Brews, debuted in 2017 with 24 tap beers from 17 Wisconsin craft breweries. And hometown craft beer players like Lakefront, Third Space, MobCraft, Raised Grain, Milwaukee Brewing and Good City are all fielding their best at Miller Park.
