200 craft beers on tap? If you don't find one you like, stop drinking beer

Ahnapee Brewery's Long Goodbye, a Great American Beer Festival medal winner, is one of more than 200 beers that will be on tap Saturday during the Northeast Wisconsin Craft Beer Festival at Shopko Hall in Ashwaubenon.

ASHWAUBENON - Shopko Hall transforms into a beer hall with 50 breweries pouring more than samples of 200 brews, 2-ounces at a time, during the Northeast Wisconsin Craft Beer Festival.

There are plenty of specialty small batch beer pours including adjuncts like blueberries, peanut butter, and jalapenos with names like "Who Tarted?" and "Hazelnut Eastbound & Brown."

Ahnapee Brewery will have two pins on tap, including its Great American Beer Festival medal winner Long Goodbye. Owner and head brewer, Nick Calaway and a representative from the beer festival will be our guests on WisBrewView Live at 12:15 p.m. Thursday on USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin media websites and Facebook pages.

The beer festival runs 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, an hour earlier for First Call ticket holders, and include live music, hors d'oeuvres, and a homebrew station set up by Green Bay Rackers Homebrew Club to educate enthusiasts.
