Cinco De Micro Returns! (Salem, OR) – This being Cinco de Mayo weekend (yep it’s now an ALL weekend celebration around the ACB compound), we’d recommend this two-day (May 4th-6th) beerganza for its clever name alone. Handcrafted Mexican lagers and spring seasonal offerings take center stage in Salem, Oregon when the 7th annual Cinco De Micro Brewfest returns to the Salem Convention Center.
TV Time & Streaming – If you’ve not yet caught up with HBO’s Silicon Valley you’re totally blowing it and we’re pissed at you! Partially inspired by co-creator Mike Judge’s experiences as a Silicon Valley drone in the 1980s, Silicon Valley follows the misadventures of introverted computer programmer Richard and his brainy band of nerds as they continue their quest to strike it rich in hi-tech’s insanely competitive environment.
A Gateway Drug (Saint Louis, MO) – The 2018 St. Louis Microfest returns to St Louis’ Forest Park this weekend and it’s one of our favorites! This year’s two-day (May 4th-5th), three-session beerganza will feature more than 600 beers from the region’s most exciting craft brewers as well as a hefty roster of international offerings. There will also be non-stop music, plenty of artisan foods, and all kinds of cool stuff going on, so you don’t want to miss it!
THE ACB WEEKEND BEER PLACE PICK
In anticipation of this weekend’s Cinco de Mayo celebrations we’re gonna be tapping a favorite of ours from Oskar Blues. First introduced in 2016 Beerito Mexican Lager is a 4% ABV deep amber lager that’s bursting with big roasty flavors and sessionable at the same time. An ACB fav!!!!
