Buy American (Comstock, MI) – It’s not that often that Bell’s Brewery introduces a new year-round but you’re going to have to wait till February to try it. Unapologetically unfiltered and hop-forward for the style, Bell’s Official is a 6.4% ABV American Wheat Ale with a rounded mouthfeel and an uber-dry finish.
A Lady Of Lager (Loveland, CO) – Even though July is still waning, Grimm Brothers Brewhouse has decided to the time is right to return an Oktoberfest mainstay. With its malty complexity and notes of toasted bread, caramel, brown sugar, and chocolate, The Farmer’s Daughter is a 6.2% ABV Märzen Lager with a surprisingly hopped yet balanced finish.
The Devil Is In The Details (Cape May, NJ) – Cape May Brewing has just returned something devilish that can sneak up on you. Fruity, complex and light to the tongue, Cape May Devil’s Reach is an 8.6% ABV Belgian-style Ale that’s deceptively straightforward, yet stronger than you might think.
Something Soured (Fort Collins, CO) – New Belgium has just released something special from their rotating Fruit Beer Series. Citrusy and fragrant, New Belgium Tartastic Lemon Ginger is a 4.5% ABV sessionable Tank Sour with a spicy undertow and a light, bright, bitter finish.
