Boston Beer is releasing a new collaboration 12-Pack that showcases five different American craft breweries, all having participated in Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream, the brewery’s one-of-a-kind philanthropic initiative.
Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream 12-pack is a collection of special collaborations that the brewery did with five promising American brewers including; Rochester, New York’s Roc Brewing Co., Albuquerque, New Mexico’s Bosque Brewing, Ramona California-based ChuckAlek Independent Brewers, the Bay Area’s Woods Beer Co. and Brewery Rickoli from Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
And here are what these “beer dreamers” crafted along with Sam Adams…
ThreeNinety Bock ( w/Roc Brewing) – A nod to the approximate mileage between Boston and Rochester New York, ThreeNinety Bock is slightly smoky Maibock Lager that uses rye and oak smoked malts to offset a medley of four different hops.
Desert Kaleidoscope IPA (w/Bosque Brewing )– A complex celebration of citrus, tangerine and pine notes Desert Kaleidoscope IPA is a 7% ABV deep amber colored, India Pale Ale with a bold, hoppy aroma and surprisingly hoppy finish that lingers awhile.
Time Hop Porter (w/ChuckAlek Independent Brewers) – Driven by its co-founders Grant Fraley and Marta Jankowska’s passion to meld “Old School Beers for New School Palates,” Time Hop Porter is 5.3% ABV English-style Porter with HUGE citrus and pine notes balanced by a rich, roasted malt backbone..
Boston Tea Party Saison (w/Woods Beer Company) – A bi-coastal take on the traditional Belgian style that combines Woods’ yerba mate-infused Saison with Sam Adams’ outrageous wild yeast blend, Kosmic Mother, Boston Tea Party Saison (our favorite name from the collection) is a spicy amber enjoyment that both confirms and surprises.
Oats McGoats Stout (w/ Brewery Rickoli) – Based on founder and brewer Rick Abitbol’s commitment to brewing full-bodied gluten-reduced beers (someone has to do it), Oats McGoats is a 6.5% ABV American Stout with earthy, spicy tones and a hint of roasted coffee that never overwhelms.
In addition to having been invited to be part of one of this summer’s coolest collaboration packs all of these brewers received a loan to grow their craft breweries. And most of them have received individual coaching from the Sam Adams crew.
And, even better, ALL the profits from this uber-exciting collaboration pack will be donated to Boston Beer’s non-profit program partner Accion who support loans to food and beverage entrepreneurs nationwide. Again, a good thing.
