The 36th annual Great American Beer Festival will be returning to Denver on October 5-7, and tickets to this acclaimed festival (which usually sells out immediately) go on sale this week so you need to be ready.

Here’s the deal…

American Homebrewers Association and Brewers Association ticket sales for the 2017 GABF go on sale TODAY August 1st  at  10:00 am MDT/12:00 pm EDT.

BA and AHA members should have already received a personal offer code via email to purchase tickets for today’s members-only ticket pre-sale.

Tickets for the general public go on sale TOMORROW, August 2nd, again at 10:00 am MDT/12:00 pm EDT. And these tickets are being sold via Ticketmaster.

The BA suggests that it’s best to sign in well before the tickets become available on Ticketmaster tomorrow, and that you shouldn’t waste your precious time on password recovery.

We’ve also been told that using that using the Ticketmaster app, which circumvents finicky browsers, is the way to go.

Saturday afternoon’s special Members-Only Session tickets are $70 each, and there’s a two ticket limit per member number this year.

General session tickets are $85 public/$80 members (if purchased during the members-only sale on August 1). And due to limited availability, sales of the GABF’s General Session ticket are being capped at four tickets per session (per ticket buyer) this year.

Tickets (if you’re lucky enough to secure them) include…

  • Commemorative tasting cup (that most people drop almost immediately).
  • Unlimited one-ounce samples of your choice of 3,800 beers (guaranteed trouble).
  • Festival guide and free app to help attendees navigate the festival hall (uber-necessary).
  • Access to dozens of educational and interactive seminars (as if).
  • Opportunity to hang with brewery reps at the “Meet the Brewer” booths.
  • Complimentary artisan cheese and food options (to help you soak up all that beer).
  • Entertainment, including live music, games, costumes, a silent disco (sure, why not?).

Good Luck!
