And here are five recent collaboration beers that definitely caught our attention.

Mutually Assured Destruction From Beavertown And Lervig Brewing (London, UK) – London’s Beavertown Brewing recently partnered with Norway’s Lervig to brew something destructive. Beavertown/Lervig M.A.D. is a 9.5% ABV Imperial IPA and one of the summer’s best international collaborations. If yah see it –grab it!

Anchorage And Monkish Conspire (Anchorage, AK) –Anchorage Brewing is returning  a collaboration they did with Torrance California’s Monkish Brewing, brewed using cryogenically frozen hops shaved down to a concentrated resin powder. Anchorage Lines is an 8.4% ABV Double IPA that was brewed using 100% Lupulin Powder.

AleSmith And Pizza Port Triple Down (San Diego, CA) – Two of San Diego’s most cutting-edge breweries, AleSmith and Pizza Port have combined to craft something incredibly logical. Logical Choice 3X IPA is a 10% ABV Imperial Ale that’s surprisingly light in body in body given its strength.

beer, 5 Exciting New Collaboration BeersA 3-Way Pop Cultural Collaboration (Escondido, CA) –  Stone Brewing recently released the 2017 version of the Drew Curtis / Wil Wheaton / Greg Koch Stone Farking Wheaton w00tstout an annual pop-cultural beer collaboration made up of Stone’s Greg Koch, Fark.com founder Drew Curtis, and actor/web Wil Wheaton. This year’s iteration is a 13% Imperial Stout, flush with complex dark cocoa, coffee and nut tones – and outrageous in scale.

Landvetter To Baltimore (Landvetter, Sweden) – Sweden’s Dugges Bryggeri recently teamed up with Baltimore’s Stillwater Artisanal and they brewed up something pretty damned impressive. From its massive molasses and toffee fudge aroma to its tiramisu and almost chocolate cake taste Dugges/Stillwater Cocoa Cacao 11.5% ABV Imperial Stout that’s worth trading something good for.
