Brewed for the first time 6 months before Dogfish Head even opened their doors, Punkin Ale started its life as an entry to a fall recipe contest at the 1994 Punkin Chunkin Contest. Made with real pumpkin meat, brown sugar and a slew of spices, it's no surprise Punkin Ale took first place. Since its debut, Punkin Ale has been brewed each and every fall.

As the season cools, this is the perfect beer to warm up with. Check-in to one (1) Punkin Ale from Dogfish Head during the month of September and you'll unlock the "Fallin' For Punkin" badge.
