Almost 350 Jobs Eliminated At Anheuser Busch’s The High End

beer, Almost 350 Jobs Eliminated At Anheuser Busch’s The High EndThe Beer Street Journal is reporting that Anheuser Busch has eliminated hundreds of jobs at The High End, AB InBev’s craft beer division which oversees and markets the company’s craft beer portfolio which includes Goose Island, 10 Barrel, Elysian, Blue Point, Wicked Weed, Four Peaks, Breckinridge, and Karbach Brewing.

According to the Beer Street Journal’s initial report which broke this afternoon, the reason for the layoffs was one of redundancy.

AB InBev’s craft brewery acquisitions came with additional employees that shared similar roles with The High End team making their original roles increasingly superfluous.

Hence today’s enormous job eliminations… which, as best we can surmise, largely affected The High End’s regional field reps and managers.

What this means for Anheuser Busch’s The High End Division is open to speculation..and we’ll be keeping you plugged into this story as more develops…
