On The Big Screen – Another weekend, another Marvel superhero movie, but at least this one has some interesting actors. Venom stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, a failed investigative reporter and druggie, who accidentally becomes the host of an alien symbiote (whatever that is) that gives him a violent super alter-ego. The film’s getting killed by the critics, but if you’re a ‘Hardy boy’ (and we are) you might still be amused.

The Second Biggest Oktoberfest Celebration On Face Of The Planet (Blumenau, Brazil) – We were blown away to learn that the biggest Oktoberfest festival outside of Munich, Germany is now taking place in Brazil, an amazing beer-loving country.  A celebration of German traditions from all over the world (only in Brazil)  Oktoberfest Blumenau 2018 is 19 day celebration (October 3rd—21st) so you’ve so got plenty of time to call in sick and book you’re airfare. Prost!
